The test can be scheduled at any date/time. You are able to reschedule your test attempt via ProctorU. Please do so before the start of your exam, instead of during the exam, to avoid any suspicion of exam fraud.
You have to be alone, in a quiet and well-lit space.
You are not allowed to take toilet breaks.
You are not allowed any resources other than a pencil, paper, and a four-function calculator.
Bring a reflective device, such as a mirror or a mobile phone with a camera, to show your proctor around the edges of your screen.
The time for your exam does not start until the exam itself has been opened. The time spent showing your proctor your ID, verifying your identity and securing your testing space does not count toward your exam time.
Please log into your ProctorU account 2-3 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam.
OMPT reserves the right to withdraw anyone from exams and/or resits if there is suspicion of exam fraud.
a four-function calculator
What can I bring?
You are allowed to use a calculator. This can only be a four-function calculator. A programmable, or graphic calculator, is not allowed. You will be asked to show the calculator during the ProctorU set-up process.
You are allowed to use paper and a pencil to make notes. You will have to destroy your notes afterwards.
Make sure to bring a government-issued photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID, you may not be able to take your exam.
Make sure to have a computer or laptop with a webcam, microphone and speakers which are installed and working correctly. A built in camera and mic in a laptop will work just fine. You can use the ProctorU platform to test your hardware.
You need a browser plug-in. You will be guided by ProctorU step-by-step during the set-up process.
Make sure to have a high-speed and stable internet connection. Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is allowed but discouraged.
