Most university programs allow for 3 attempts to reach the minimum passing grade. However, there are some exceptions to this rule, namely:

University of Groningen - Faculty of Economics and Business Programs

2 attempts

(This exception does not apply to Nijmegen School of Management, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Law (3 attempts))

This exception does not apply for the following Erasmus University Dutch programs: Bedrijfseconomie, Fiscale Economie, Econometrie & Operationele Research. These programs have unlimited attempts.
